This engine has a working feedwater heater (seen on top of smokebox) and is equipped with a [[Alcohol Burner for Live Steamers|Shattock design vaporizing alcohol burner]]. A single cylinder steampump under the cab deck and a tender hand-pump take care of the water supply to the boiler.  Some five years of spare time and more has gone into building the engine & tender and its passenger carrying flatcar and backyard length of track.
