[[Charles A. Purinton|Carl Purinton]], as you know, founded the [[IBLS|Brotherhood of Live Steamers]] in 1932.  In addition to building live steam models and railroads, Carl worked as a fireman on the Boston & Main Railroad.  For a time he was assigned to fire B&M No 3240, a J-1-e Atlantic built by Mancester Locomotive Works in 1908.

Carl Purinton, as you know, founded the Brotherhood of Live Steamers in 1932. In addition to building live steam models and railroads, Carl worked as a fireman on the Boston & Main Railroad. For a time he was assigned to fire B&M No 3240, a J-1a Atlantic built by Mancester Locomotive Works in 1908.
