- Died February 7, 2020 in Tomball, Texas. He is preceded in death by his Farther: Billy Benjamin Brothers, Sr. and Mother: Margaret Helen Brothers (Guin). He Retired from Shell Chemical Company, Dear Park, Texas, after 37 years; Former member of Pasadena's volunteer Fire Department;
- Active member of HALS (Houston Area Live Steamers) Train Club
- Active member of Magnolia's First Baptist Church, Enjoyed model trains, woodworking, travel, mechanics. Gary is survived by his wife: Linda Eleanor Wilcox-Brothers Married August 5, 2000 at First Baptist Church of Pasadena, daughters Tracie Poore, Bridget Duzan and Husband Robert, Sister: - Christine Brothers/Bartz & Husband William, Brothers: Ronnie Brothers & Wife Patricia, Billy Brothers, Jr & Wife Denise, Jerry Brothers & Wife Gosia
- WT Brothers & Wife Rosemary, Grandchildren - Allicia, Keithen, Carson, Jared, Megan along with numerous Nieces & Nephews.
