- That NYC Hudson of Wallace Ribbeck is really a masterpiece of a locomotive. I've seen it several times. It used to sit outside of the room at the Chattanooga Choo-Choo Hotel where the large model train layout was located. The locomotive disappeared from there and then moved to the Tennessee Valley Railroad back a number of years ago.
Wally Ribbeck at the controls of his Hudson. Wally's automobile furnishes blower air to start fires in his and Bill Michaels' engines until engines' blowers take over. Fall 1948.
Photo taken at the track of William Michaels of Racine, Wisconsin and shows Walter Ribbeck of Kenosha with his fine 1/2 inch scale Hudson. From The Live Steamer, Jan-Feb 1950.
