The Iron Pony

The Iron Pony manufactured 1 inch scale model railroad equipment. It was founded by brothers Mike and Joe Devlin. It was subsequently sold to Rob Johnston in 2000, who renamed it Riding Railkits Inc.

  • The Iron Pony Demonstrator Loco Set in 1 inch scale, 4-3/4 inch gauge. F7 A (powered) and B (riding dummy) units, fabricated, assembled and finished by Joe and Mike Devlin at The Iron Pony in Anaheim, CA. Units are museum-quality detailed and ready to run. Includes electronic sound system with horn, bell, stepped diesel effects, and simulated Mars light. B unit is set up as riding car, with built-in control panel and removable seat / floorboards, but trucks are sprung to allow both ride-on and ride-behind configuration. Built in 2002.
