Modeltec magazine was published from 1984 to 2002. Daniel Smith is the current owner. He is planning to restart the magazine, and as of September 2013 has four issues in the works.

Founded A.D. 1984 by William C. Fitt -- Publication began in May, 1984.
From the Modeltec Website, 2001 on Archive.org: CAMELBACK PRESS is owned and operated by George and Linda Broad, publishers since 1992 of MODELTEC magazine. George is a lifelong steam fan and both have been actively interested in the live steam hobby since the mid-1960s.
