== Phase 2 Golden Spike ==
[[Houston Area Live Steamers|HALS]] celebrated the completion of the Phase 2 track on February 4, 1999 with a Golden Spike Ceremony.  Mary Lou Pasley kindly provided the following video of the event. The video starts with Lee Balkam speaking, standing next to [[David Hannah III]] and [[Jim Jackson]].

The Houston Area Live Steamers are a club in Harris County, Texas. They meet at Zube Park, home to the Cypress Creek & Southern Railroad.

Phase 2 Golden Spike

HALS celebrated the completion of the Phase 2 track on February 4, 1999 with a Golden Spike Ceremony. Mary Lou Pasley kindly provided the following video of the event. The video starts with Lee Balkam speaking, standing next to David Hannah III and Jim Jackson.
