Starr-Jaycee Park
The following announcement appeared in Live Steam Magazine, November 1980:
- The Great Lakes Live Steamers has some good news. The site selection committee has just completed negotiations with the City of Royal Oak, Michigan to install a 7.5 inch gauge track in the Starr-Jaycee Park in that city. They have been granted a five year lease for use of the park. The proposed track will be 3,000 feet in length when finished. The track will be built in three stages. Track construction will begin around April of 1981.
- Dennis Goodman, Secretary
