- Paul E. Torn, Jr.
- April 15, 1929 – December 2, 2019
- Paul was born on April 15, 1929 in Austin, Texas to the late Paul E. Torn, Sr. and Agnes (Jacobson) Torn. Paul was a veteran having served with the United States Marine Corp. He was a dedicated hard working machinist, tool maker and in his early years a welder. Paul was a caring, loving and truly devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend to so many. He will be forever remembered for passion of faith, family and hard work. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
- He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years Meta Torn; daughter, Barbara Newlin; two sons, Paul E. Torn, III. and Danny Torn; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren as well as many extended family members and close friends.
- Paul was preceded in death by one daughter, Lynda Troutman and one son, John Torn.
- A Graveside Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 6, 2019 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660. Pastor Kevin Haywood will be officiating with military honors being afforded by Active Duty United States Marine Corps.
