An interesting picutre of part of the track of the New England Live Steamers, at Danvers, Mass., U.S.A. Mr. Poor driving his 3-1/2 inch gauge 4-6-2 locomotive through the South transfer switch. The provision of cover for the pointmen will be noted! The point-operating mechanism is clearly descernible in the picture.
