Here is another picture of the Douglas Massie Northern. It is being driven by his son Merideth Massie at the track in Montreal. This picture shows the engine with the original boiler, Coventry power reverse and steam driven cylinder drains. The drains at this time were using the steam one that fed the Harry Sait pump that used to be under the smokebox door. This picture would have been from one of the BLS meets in the 1940's.
