It is the Las Vegas Railroad Society's mission to collect, preserve and exhibit historical railroad and mining equipment, and 'bring to life' the industries and cultural heritage of the late 19th and early 20th century by using the medium of operating trains; and educating the public and all students of our local schools about our city's and American railroad history, as also tomorrow’s new railroad technologies.
