Starting in the September-October 1952 edition, the The Miniature Locomotive ran a series of articles detailing the work of Cliff Blackstaffe of Vancouver, BC. Blackstaffe had developed plans on the construction of a beginner’s 0-4-0 with a slip eccentric valve gear.
