Hi guys and ladies, too!

Now we’re up to 340 locos. Of course, all kinds of information holes remain. All are invited to fill in the holes or correct info.

I’ve begun a program to give every loco a code designation: wheel arrangement-prototype-builder. That way, a loco will usually have only one proper position within a file. That should help when searching for specific locos. I’ve completed the work on this in only one of the three files, I will nevertheless send out the files now as they are. The completed file is the one containing 4-6-0’s and larger.

One of my main questions now: I’m listing the original Langworthy Hudson, code designation “464.NYC5297.Langworthy”, as sold and relettered to Southern #1501. Is that correct, is that really the same loco? Who can help me out?

This is the third edition for 2016 – the edition number is 16-3.

I would really appreciate it if people publishing photos on the Internet, for ex. on the Chaski forum, would include more info, attempt to include at least owner, builder and location.

Bill Yoder
