: [[Mick Nussbaum|Matthew &amp;quot;Mick&amp;quot; Nussbaum]] was born January 21, 1934 in Pittsburgh, PA and enlisted following graduation from Fairview Park High School in Cleveland, OH.  Following duty in Corpus Christi, TX, he attended Airman Preparatory School in Norman, OK, then to Aviation Boatswain Mate Class A school in Philadelphia, PA.  He spent one and half years in the crash crew at NAS Kodiak, AK and reported aboard USS &amp;lt;i&amp;gt;Yorktown&amp;lt;/i&amp;gt; CVA-10 at Bremerton, WA in May 1955 asan AB 3/c, assigned to V-2 Division, Starboard Catapult.  Leisure time found him in the photo lab pursuing his hobby of photography.  Most memorable experiences aboard ship were the quality Liberty ports in Hawaii; Kobi, Japan; and Hong Kong.  Upon promotion to AB 2/c, he went TAD to Master-at-Arms until his Honorable Discharge in August 1956, departing with Good Conduct, Korean Conflict and United Nations medals.&lt;br /&gt;
