	:Martin also decided to use outside admission slide valves instead of inside admission piston valves because they were easier for a builder to fabricate instead of the spool valves with its associated circular valve liner. Martin had run into problems especially with inexperienced builders getting the piston valve liner egg shaped especially once it was pressed into the cylinder block. 	All this being said, Little Engines locomotives, (with LE under the proper ownership) are successful and reliable designs which is evident by all of the LE Northerns, Pacifics, Atlantics, etc. that are out there. I had an LE Atlantic and Hudson that I ran the wheels off of.
